In our writing lesson, we explored ‘Tell Me a Dragon’ by Jackie Morris, we then brought our own dragons to life in art lesson. Our creations turned out beautifully, and they look truly amazing!

over the past two weeks, we’ve been focusing on collaborative learning. In our RE lesson on creation, children worked together to creat fantastic postcards using natural materials they found in the playground. We arranged these cards into a beautiful display that now brighten up our classroom.

What a fantastic start to Year 3! It has been lovely getting to know them all this week. They have been working hard on getting back into routines and becoming familiar with our daily timetable. This week, we created our self-portraits and had a PSHE lesson focused on habits. We also had the chance to taste some delicious apples from the school’s orchard.
